THE REALITY OF IT...
as a wife, mom of two beautiful kids (Noah 23 months and Hannah 16 weeks), a house full of chores, and scheduling a few hours a week to instruct a cardio/weights class there leaves little time and money for fashion. After the birth of our son I lost all sense of fashion. I hated to get dressed because I never knew what to wear or how to wear it, plus I thought I was fat! That was two years ago. Since that time we have had a precious little girl and I feel that my personal style is starting to return.
Growing up, my mom would have to drag me to a thrift store. I hated them! I was embarrassed when we went and hoped no one would see us! Now I drag her to thrift stores! It's like Cheers, everybody knows our names!!! I love how you can go to the same thrift store everyday for a week, but everyday you will see something new (my husband does not like this)! I love how you can buy more and spend less, again my husband doesn't like this. He says things like "you buy even more and spend the same amount," I don't see a problem with that!
My goal for this blog is to post a few times a week to show that a girl can still look stylish, trendy, and unique on a limited budget and with limited time!
Congratulations on your brand new fashion blog! I love it! You look very stylish and beautiful! Happy thrifting and blogging! Enjoy the adventure!
